Chassis and frame
Austin Healey chassis and frame work
KAS developed Austin Healey chassis work from original examples and original plans, with jigs and manufacturing techniques refined over many hours of development.
The chassis work was described as suitable for both concours competitors and everyday drivers, with strength and integrity improvements kept out of sight wherever possible.
Optional internal webs and adjustable shock mounts were offered to improve handling, reduce scuttle shake and make front wheel setup easier.

- Top and bottom welded seams, not cut-and-shut RHS.
- Thicker wall thickness for extra strength.

Repair panels and smaller restoration parts
The KAS Austin Healey range covered inner and outer repair panels, body sections, footwells, seat pans, seat backs, radiator ducts, centre consoles, door trim plate sets and smaller brackets.
The original page described panels made with a focus on quality, originality and fit, with tooling developed through long-running testing and quality control.

Our optional Webbed Rails (welded centre seams as per original) give superior strength and rigidity over the old original frame without any visible alterations to the look of your Healey. Your Healey will still look just like a Healey should, regardless of what angle you may view it from. We have gone to great lengths to provide you with an alternative to the commonly used "off the shelf RHS (Rectangular Hollow Section)" rails.
